The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is considering removing nearly all Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves in the lower 48 states which could lead to a return to devastating state-led wolf hunts.
Nearly 1,200 gray wolves have been trapped or killed in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho in just the two years since gray wolves lost federal protections and another eight collared Yellowstone wolves were recently killed outside the park's boundaries.
Fill out the form below to urge the Fish & Wildlife Service not to strip gray wolves of the federal protections they need to ensure their recovery in the wild. There is no time to lose – the deadline for public comments is December 17th!
While all the organizations participating in the Save Our Environment Action Center share the common goal of
protecting the environment, individual groups can, and sometimes do, differ in their approaches to specific issues.
